Air Raider Figure Fan Art

Hey fellow Air Raiders, I just wanted to share some artwork I’ve done recently. We were fortunate in the past couple years to get figure sculpture sheets (done by Ron Rudat!) for several of the figures from both the first year of toys and even the canceled second year. Canceled Tyrant soldier Canceled Tyrant officer…… Continue reading Air Raider Figure Fan Art

Air Raiders Advertising, Part 2

Continuing the posting of old advertisements for the Air Raiders (see here), here’s a few from the The Des Moines Register, Chicago Tribune, and The Times out of Shreveport, Louisiana. The Times is first, dated November 18, 1987, and I’m amused that they lumped a Cobra Sea Ray from GI Joe in the space provided.…… Continue reading Air Raiders Advertising, Part 2

It has never been offered for sale before and is being offered here for the…… Continue reading Fast as Lightning!

Air Raider Prototype Figures, Part 2

Some more figure prototypes, similar to this one, are up on ebay. They are the Twin Lightning officer, Commander Airlocke and the Hawkwind officer, Commodore Kronax. Both are unfortunately damaged as both lost their right arm! Kronax seems to have lost part of his helmet horn too. The figures can be found here and here.…… Continue reading Air Raider Prototype Figures, Part 2

[Multiple] Barrels of Fun!

You might remember seeing my post about the Wind Reaper a few weeks ago, an evil version of the Man-O-War that popped up on ebay. Well, another vehicle posted up there around the same time. Named for it’s multi-launcher feature, the Gatling is another awesome prototype of the Air Raiders line that never saw the…… Continue reading [Multiple] Barrels of Fun!
